As Pride Month brings stories of resilience, resistance, and hope to the forefront, one voice stands tall in the corporate equality space – Jessley Bañas, the passionate Training Consultant of PFIP (Philippine Financial & Inter-Industry Pride).
Known for her unwavering commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, Jessley has become a powerful advocate for SOGIE awareness and LGBTQIA+ rights in workplaces and beyond.

With years of experience in gender sensitivity training and inclusive leadership development, Jessley is on a mission to make safe and empowering spaces not just ideal – but the norm.
Her work with PFIP puts her at the heart of conversations that matter, equipping companies and communities with the tools to understand SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression) and embrace it with empathy.

“Awareness is the first step, but action is what drives real change,” Jessley shares. Her sessions, whether with private corporations or government agencies like the Department of Tourism, go beyond lectures.
They are lived experiences, guided by compassion, authenticity, and the firm belief that everyone deserves dignity, regardless of who they are or who they love.
In a world where discrimination still persists, Jessley uses education as a bridge. “It’s not about blaming people for what they don’t know. It’s about inviting them into a conversation,” she explains.
This Pride Month, Jessley continues to carry the torch for inclusion. Her message is clear: Pride is not just a celebration. It’s a daily commitment to equality, empathy, and visibility.
Through her work, she reminds us that change begins with listening, learning, and standing up—not just in June, but all year long.
Because when we understand each other better, we build a world where everyone truly belongs.
