Barbie Anne Arcache Joins PFIP’s Board of Advisors for Social Engagement

The Philippine Financial & Inter-Industry Pride (PFIP), a cross-industry network of over 100 companies championing LGBTQIA+ inclusion in the Philippine corporate sector, proudly welcomes Ms. Barbie Anne Arcache as the newest member of its Board of Advisors for Social Engagement.

This appointment signifies PFIP’s continued commitment to fostering inclusive, empowered, and socially conscious workplaces across industries—and marks a significant step in its mission to drive equity at scale. Barbie’s leadership will be pivotal as PFIP expands its influence in advocating for LGBTQIA+ inclusion within corporate environments.

A creative force in advertising, public relations, and LGBTQIA+ advocacy, Barbie brings over two decades of experience as a brand strategist, entrepreneur, and movement builder. As the founder and CEO of Arcache Mendoza Publicis, she has led award-winning campaigns that shaped consumer behavior and elevated important conversations on diversity and representation in mainstream media.

One standout example of Barbie’s impactful work is the “Beauty Beyond Labels” campaign, which challenged traditional norms and showcased authentic stories of trans and queer individuals. The campaign earned industry recognition and sparked a broader dialogue on LGBTQIA+ representation, making a lasting impact on media and advertising industries.

It’s an honor to be part of a movement that values not just performance, but purpose,” Barbie shared. “Inclusion in the workplace isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s a business imperative and a cultural cornerstone for the future we want to build.”

Beyond her corporate success, Barbie has made a significant impact in community advocacy. As National Leader of LGBT Pilipinas Taguig Inc., she has championed policies to protect LGBTQIA+ rights, amplified grassroots voices, and bridged gaps between sectors. Notable initiatives include the successful lobbying for anti-discrimination ordinances and policies that safeguard LGBTQIA+ employees in the workplace.

Barbie’s entrepreneurial spirit extends to her ventures, such as POUR FEMME and LèArcache Goods and Merchandise, where she continues to uplift diverse talent and create spaces that celebrate Filipino creativity, empowerment, and inclusion. These businesses reflect her ability to turn passion into platforms that spark meaningful change.

“PFIP is more than just a network—it’s a community of leaders creating real impact,” Barbie said. “I’m excited to help shape how organizations speak with intention, collaborate with purpose, and lead with empathy.”

Her leadership across corporate, advocacy, and business spheres uniquely positions her to guide PFIP’s strategic direction, helping to create more inclusive and authentic strategies for organizational engagement. Barbie’s vision for inclusive leadership will help shape PFIP’s initiatives in the coming year, driving change and impact on both a local and global scale.

“Barbie Anne Arcache is an exemplary leader whose vision, creativity, and commitment to inclusivity will elevate PFIP’s work,” said PFIP Chairperson Weena Ekid. “Her insight and community-driven approach will be crucial as we continue to build a stronger, more inclusive future.”
